  2. What is Anodizing? • Anodizing is an electrolytic process of oxidising the base of the metal base. By the process of anodizing the pace of oxidisation is increased. Anodizing can be done on various base metals, aluminium is the best metal for anodizing. • In the electrolytic process, the components to be treated are made an anode in a dilute acid solution. Oxidation occurs at the component surface, resulting in the formation of a coherent oxide film that is very adherent to the underlying metal substrate. The majority of anodising is done on aluminium and its alloys. Other materials which can be anodised include magnesium and titanium alloys.

  3. What is Anodizing Used, For? • Anodizing is mainly used for resistance of the metal. Most of the aluminium metal bodies in the marine are protected by anodizing it. Aluminium metal are generally not very hard, but it’s aluminium oxide is one of the hardest thing, which makes it very useful. • Anodizing is use to make the metal surface look beautiful. Most of the gadgets that we use are anodized. The mobile, laptops, vehicle are anodized. • Anodizing increase the life of the metal body and allow it to be used in any environment.

  4. Dyeing is an another very important application of aluminium anodizing. Application of dying aluminium oxide is also in artwork and making aluminium • Well, covering all the usage of anodizing is merely impossible, in this small article

  5. What Metals Can Be Anodized? • Aluminium is the most commonly used material in in anodizing, but there are several other metals too which can be anodized. • Titanium is the second most commonly used metal for anodizing. The implementation of titanium anodize is vast. • Titanium anodize is nontoxic and this makes it very useful in biomedical products • The another which is used for anodizing is magnesium, however magnesium anodize has very limited use. It is important to note, not all material can be anodized. Anodizing material which is note suitable will just change the chemical properties and will deteriorate the metal

  6. How can you anodize your metal? • Well, anodizing is the electrolytic process. Here you need large plants to do that, you can reach out many companies which provides anodizing service. • If you are in India I will recommend www.indacocoats.com it is one of the most trustworthy anodizing service providing company in India, it is located in Belgaum, Karnataka
