This year's induction update features a focus on the challenges faced by newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and highlights the Teachers’ Standards and Ofsted requirements. With 24 cases so far, compared to 17 last year, we examine the role of various Initial Teacher Training (ITT) providers, including Brighton University and Leeds Trinity. We also discuss appraisal processes, assessment deadlines, and the NQT cycle of support, ensuring compliance with NCTL guidance. Our aim is to foster professional development for all NQTs.
