  1. Re-equipping ZIL-130-131 truckswith D-245 diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant”

  2. OJSC“Minsk Motor Plant” was founded in 1963 and it is the leading developer and manufacturer of modern diesel engines, holding the largest share in the CIS as to the quantities of in-line 4 and 6-cylinder engines. The company offers over 40 diesel engine modifications within the power range between 60hp and 650hp, which have been designed for agricultural, road-building and forestry machinery, trucks and buses, industrial equipment, various drive units, special and other machinery with adaptation according to customer demand. The basic distinguishing features of the engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant” are their reliability in operation, simplicity and low cost of maintenance.

  8. Re-equipping ZIL– 130/131 trucks with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant”

  9. The basic operational specifications of ZIL-130/131 gasoline engines (standard kitting)

  10. Replacing ZIL gasoline engines with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant” It is possible to install diesel engines from 136 to 155 hp. Ecological standards:EURO 0 – EURO 2 D-245.9Е2 D-245.9 D-245.30Е2 andits modifications

  11. Technical specifications of diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant”

  12. D-245.9 andD-245.9Е2 kitting The engines are shipped with all necessary additional parts and units.и. • D-245.9 andD-245.9Е2 are equipped with: • starter - pneumatic compressor • alternator - clutch disks • turbocharger - fuel pump • The engines kitting includea gear-boxand aмounting set of partsto install them on trucks: • - water and oil radiator (optional), • - supercharged air cooler, • hydraulic steering valve-box, • air cleaner, • connection parts, clamps, holders and fasteners, sensors and relays. These engines are the most optimal with regard to the price/output/kitting relation.

  13. The technology of re-equipping ZIL 130/131 trucks with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant” Install the diesel engine, the clutch and the gear box. Connect the engine to the on-board electric circuit (12V). Connect the sensors. Connect the engine’s cooling system (pipes, radiator, expansion tank etc.) Connect the fuel supply system. It is recommended to add an MMP coarse fuel filter to it. Install the air filter. Divert exhaust gases. Converting trucks from gasoline to diesel is not a complicated procedure from the technical viewpoint or requiring special equipment and conditions. The OJSC “MMP” offers a package of the necessary technical documentation (re-equipment instruction manuals, operation and maintenance manuals). Our high-skilled specialists are ready to render you complete technical assistance in installing our diesel engines.

  14. ZIL – 130/131 trucks performance estimate after re-equippingwith diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “MMP”

  15. ZIL – 130/131 trucks performance estimate after re-equipping with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “MMP” Cruising range with one fuelling ZIL – 130 (tank 175 l) ZIL-508.10 D-245 480 km 890 km ZIL – 131 (tank 170 l х2) ZIL-508.10 D-245 930 km 1745 km

  16. ZIL – 130/131 trucks performance estimate after re-equipping with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “MMP” !The life of diesel engine is 2-3 times longer than that of gasoline

  17. ZIL – 130/131 trucks performance estimate after re-equipping with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “MMP” The operation life of diesel engine before overhaul is 3 times longer than that of gasoline = 1 D-245 3 ZIL-508.10

  18. ZIL – 130/131 trucks performance estimate after re-equipping with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “MMP” The savings on the fuel at 300 000 km run after re-equipping ZIL–130/131 trucks with the MMP diesel engines will make ≈ 48 500 $ Cost of gasoline 0,95 $/liter Cost of diesel fuel 0,95 $/liter Average gasoline consumption 36,5 liters/100 km Average diesel fuel consumption 19,5 liters/100 km Payback period ≈ 40 000km (additional costs for transportation and installationincluded)

  19. The main advantages of re-equipping ZIL - 130/131 trucks with diesel engines manufactured by OJSC “Minsk Motor Plant” • Average fuel consumption only19,5 liters/100 km • Cruising range before refuelling≈ 1,5 times longer • 2-3 times longer engine operation lifebefore overhaul • Increased torque • Less fire hazard
