Promoting Science Education Reform Through ASSET Inc. and Science: It's Elementary in Pittsburgh

ASSET Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh, dedicated to improving science education through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Initiated as part of the National Science Education reform in 1992, ASSET provides curriculum materials, professional development, and support for schools. With over 48 school districts, including charter and private schools, ASSET impacts more than 125,000 students each year. The organization emphasizes the importance of engaging children in experiential learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking, fostering a new generation of informed and capable thinkers in science.
