  2. Recommendations • Need for speedy enactment of separate, unified fire and OSH legislation, covering all workers in both formal and informal sectors. • Promotion of cooperation and sharing of OSH knowledge and good practices amongst SAARC region and other countries.

  3. Recommendations • Development and implementation of OSH policies & management systems at both national and enterprise level in line with ILO conventions & guidelines. • Development and standardization of OSH curricula at different levels and capacity building of OSH professionals, managers and workers.

  4. Recommendations • Improvement of OSH statistics and data management systems and establishment of National Helpline for reporting of workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

  5. Way Forward • Establishment of working group for speedy drafting of separate, unified fire and occupational safety legislation, covering both formal and informal sectors. • Holding annual OSH conference for promotion of cooperation and sharing of OSH knowledge & good practices amongst SAARC region and other countries.

  6. Way Forward • Establishment of working group for development and implementation of OSH policies & management systems at both national and enterprise level in line with ILO conventions. • Establishment of working group for standardization of OSH curricula at different levels and strategy for capacity building of OSH professionals, managers and workers.

  7. Way Forward • Establishment of OSH National/ Provincial Data Management Centre for reporting & evaluation of OSH statistics for evidence based research and decision making.
