Cultivation • Learn about, nurture, and strengthen their Rotary interests • Inform them of reasons/opportunities to make major gifts • Promote major giving 3. Solicitation • Ask prospects for major gifts 4. Stewardship • Help recognize donors who have made major gifts • Continually thank and involve major gift donors

  3. How to host a Million dollar dinner Resources: • Endowment/Major Gift Advisors (E/MGA) • Table captains • TRF brochures • Major Gift Officers (MGO’s) • Million Dollar dinner reference guides-one for USA/ one for Canada

  4. Timeline • Set a committee: Who and roles? • Fund Development: get table captains talking to prospects • Work with TRF staff on prospecting and recognition • Book venue and Rotary Senior Leader • Garner excitement-marketing the event is key
