  2. What Happened? • The Colonists suffered from starvation and frostbite.

  3. When Did it Happen? • Valley Forge took place in 1777

  4. How Did It Happen? • This Event, Valley Forge, was caused by the colonists being unprepared and the harsh weather conditions.

  5. Why Did it Happen? • This event took place so Washington could gain political support. Also they didn’t have the right supplies or clothing.

  6. Who Was Involved in the Event? • The Colonists, Professional Army, Baron Von Steuben, and Washington were all involved in the Valley Forge.

  7. Where Did it Happen? • Valley Forge took place in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
