Rapporterte tilfeller redusert med 85% i forhold til 1998

Polio Historie – korte trekk • 2000 55o mill barn vaksinert • 2003 TRF (vi) gir US$119 mill • Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan gjenstår • 2004 Synkronisert National Immunization Day (NID) i 23 land når 80 mill barn • 2006 Polio redusert til 4 land: Afghanistan, India, Nigeria, Pakistan • 2009 Rotyarys samlede bidrag nådd US$ 800 mill

  10. Anbefalinger 8. august 2014 • Både Pakistan og Equatorial Guinea har eksportert virus internasjonalt siden mai. • Polio trives i konfliktområder • Tiltak gjelder alle reisende til og fra Pakistan, Syria, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Afghanistan, Etiopia, Irak, Israel, Somalia og Nigeria
