This study presents a detailed geological analysis of Bitterfeld-Süd, focusing on the stratigraphy and environmental geology of the region. Key features include the examination of mining dumps, sedimentary structures, and glacial influences, as well as the composition of glazifluviatile sands and gravels. Utilizing 3D modeling, this research provides valuable insights into the subsurface characteristics, stratigraphic layers, and their implications for understanding the geological history of the Bitterfeld area. This work was conducted by the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.
