Overview of LMARS Data Usage and Reporting by the Marine Corps

DESCRIPTION

The Marine Corps no longer utilizes LMARS data but previously relied on it for performance metrics. The Logistics Command, through the Logistics Capabilities Center, received LRT files from DLA Transaction Services weekly, monthly, or quarterly via File Transfer Protocol. This data was merged with Retail Data from SASSY to form a comprehensive database that facilitated the creation of the monthly CWT report for internal use and sharing with DLA. The generated database was available on the Precision Logistics Website for access by the Logistics Management Institute.
