  2. Overall aim Increase GNC partners’ understanding of cluster coordination and their role in Nutrition Cluster, in order for partners to better support both GNCand partners field offices in order to improve results for affected population

  3. Training objectives • Increase understanding of Cluster Partners on: • Importance and impact of Transformative Agenda and Cluster Approach at global and country level • Roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of GNC, Cluster Lead Agencies and Cluster Partners at global and country levels • Cluster partner roles in inter-cluster linkages • Strengthen partnerships and commitmentat global and country levels • Identify actions each can take to strengthen strategic participationinboth global and country coordination

  4. Partners at the Training • Global Food Security Cluster • IFRC, • ACF • World Society for the Protection of Animals • GAIN • IMC National WASH Cluster Coordination Training

  5. Recommendations • Partner HQ staff orientation is important and required • Research with global partners barriers to attending these kinds of workshops • Consider multi-cluster 2 day training at global and national level National WASH Cluster Coordination Training
