Goal for the day • Demonstrate what we have learned about microscopes & the scientific method. • Be able to calculate total magnification & describe how the field of view changes from low to high power • Be able to use the correct adjustment (coarse or fine) when focusing a microscope. • Become comfortable using and focusing microscopes.

  3. Question of the Day- Parts & FunctionList each part & give its function. If you have trouble, use your green microscope sheet & your microscope coloring activity

  5. The Great Germination Race Each group will be responsible for designing an experiment that tests what factors might cause germination to begin the fastest.
