  3. Classroom Grading • Semester work (90%) • Effective use of class time (participation) • Daily work • Most assignments graded on effort and completion • +, +√, √ system • Final exam (10%)

  4. Work Time Expectations • Headphones allowed if quiet • Academic use of phones only (research, checking IC, required assignment) • Quiet during individual times • On task • No sleeping • Off task behavior • Loss of participation points • Dismissal to office

  5. Daily Work Expectations • Respectful of guest speakers and others • Participate • Positive attitude and gives best effort • No phones, off and away • Make up work • Your responsibility • Late work • 1 week maximum • 70% penalty
