Expanding Apprenticeships in London: Priorities and Actions for 2012

DESCRIPTION

This presentation by Vic Grimes, Divisional Director, outlines the strategic agenda for growing apprenticeships in London as of March 2012. Key priorities include expanding apprenticeship placements, enhancing the diversity and quality of applicants, and simplifying the recruitment process for employers. The focus is also on aligning apprenticeship opportunities with regional needs and ensuring value for money. The plan aims to increase apprenticeship starts, especially for 16-24 year olds, and promote advanced and higher-level apprenticeship programs in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) fields.
