  2. Superlatives • In English, Superlatives are when we use adjectives with an “est” as a suffix. • For example, the fastest runner, the tallest girl, etc.

  3. Superlatives • Memorize this formula: • el/la/los/las + noun + más/menos+ adjective

  4. Superlatives • el/la/los/las + noun + más/menos+ adjective • This formula is used to say that someone is “the most” or “the least” of a group.

  5. Superlatives • For example, • La foto de mi familia es la posesión más importante para mi.

  6. Superlatives • Los colores más bonitos • In Spanish, it says “the colors most pretty.” • In English we would say, “the prettiest colors” with “est.”

  7. Superlatives • To say that someone is “the best” or “the worst” we use el/la mejor and el /la peor. These come before the noun.

  8. Superlatives • Pienso que Gonzalo Ochoa es el mejor estudiante. • Also, for example, “el peor estudiante,” “la mejor niña”
