TaskCard #1 • Write a biographyaboutone of yourfamilymembers.  Use theguidelocated: http://www.greatlifestories.com/pressroom/article3.html • Makesureyouhaveansweredall 50 questionssatisfactorilyfromthepage.   • Do notjustwritetheanswers, writethebiographylikeitisabook.  Includetheanswers in yourparagraphs.  Makesureyouhaveanintroductionand closing.

TaskCard #2 • Research a famouspersonfromthelast 20 years. • Create a portrait/caricature of thisperson. • Makesuretheportraitdemonstratestheirpersonalitytraits and whythey are important. • Write a short paragraphonthe back of theportraitexplainingwhatthisperson’slifetaughtyou. • Bring in a real picture of thisperson • You can findresourcestogetstarted in theinterest center.

TaskCard #3 • Listen tothe CD ONE bythe Beatles. • Thinkabouthowtheirsongs are a form of biography and tell a story of theirlives. • Thinkabouthowmusichelpsotherpeopleunderstandtheirownlife. • Choose a few of thesongsfromthe CD and analyzetheirlyrics. What do thesongssayaboutthewriter? (Usually McCartney orLennon). • Createyourown CD of songsthattellyourstory and explainwhyeachsongispart of yourbiography. Keep in mindhowthemusicwemake and listen tosayswhowe are.
