These metal Instruments are bound to make you look different and unusual but it is for your own good. They are four types of Dental Braces: Traditional, Lingual, Ceramic and Invisalign. Way to Work: The Traditional ones consist of brackets which bond with the teeth. They work with appropriate force and pressure which affects the periodontal membrane and the bones surrounding tooth. The membrane is strained out on side and compressed on another. This loosen the tooth to attain a new position. Clear Aligners: The biggest substitutes to traditional braces are clear aligners. They also use force and pressure to get the teeth back to shape. It is made up of strong plastic which is engineered to fit every patient mouth. They are worn for almost 18-20 hours a day to get the most out of them. However, these are changed every couple weeks depending on your case. Way to work: The orthodontist first decides that how your bite takes place. Then He /she creates a plan for teeth movement and aligners preparation.
