  1. LYAA DAY at PBISaturday April 10, 2010 10AM-8PM LYAA in partnership with PBI will be conducting a Spring Training Players Clinic for all League Baseball Participants.

LYAA Day at PBI • LYAA IS FUNDING THE CLINIC as part of the Leagues Player and Coach Development Initiative • PBI will be closed to the public and open only to LYAA on April 10 • Spring Training Players Clinic conducted by PBI’s Professional Training Staff • Teams will be assigned a specific time slot to attend this event as opposed to their Saturday April 10 practice (approximately 5 teams per time slot) • Players/Coaches and Teams will rotate through different training stations learning skills and fundamentals for their appropriate age level Coaches Clinics aligned with the Players Clinic curriculum to be conducted prior to April 10 Effective and efficient Instructor to Player ratio to be maintained at stations Players will also receive Free tokens to PBI batting cages as well as an opportunity to sign up for specially priced private instruction Hot Dogs and Ice Cream PBI is also trying to line up a former Chicago Cub for autographs This promises to be a fun filled event that will also benefit the development of our players and coaches and provide them with a foundation for a successful and fun season in 2010. Your players time slots will be scheduled and communicated to you after the teams are chosen on March 7.
