  5. RFP-Proposal Email The RFP email includes: RFP in PDF format MediaMind proposal Excel template Any other attachment from the planner (brief/ Terms and Conditions, etc.) Links to demo and help files

  6. RFP PDF • The RFP PDF file includes all the details entered by the planner Contacts for reference from agency and Site Campaign objectives and target audience Dates and budget assigned to the site Requested placements

  7. Reminder: Enable Macros Before validation and submission, you need to enable macros

  8. MM Proposal Excel Template Placements Details • The worksheet where the publisher enters all proposed placements’ details • Columns order and name cannot be changed

  9. MediaMind Proposal Excel Template Placements Details • Explanations for each column can be viewed by rolling the mouse over each column header. • Mandatory columns are indicated with a red asterisk • When pasting placements -select Paste SpecialValues and number formats • Cost can be either Net or Gross • When adding packages, enter all the required details for the first placement in the package only. Enter the additional placements in the following rows. There is no need to enter dates, units, or Media Cost details.

  10. Placements Type • The placement type to be served. Multiple values may be selected. • Text Ad - Placement supports ads that use text-based hyperlinks only. • Standard - Placement supports ads that do not allow user interactions (e.g., simple .gif/.jpeg banner, etc). • Rich Media - Placement supports ads that allow user interactions (e.g., expandable, pop-up, etc.). • Floating/Overlay - Placement supports ads that play within a limited area in a transparent layer, over a web page. • Roadblock - Placement supports ads in which simultaneous advertising occurs to ensure full coverage of the viewing population. This Roadblock placement provides an advertiser with the ability to 'own' 100% of the page views, for a specified period of time. • Streaming - Also known as In-Stream Video, this placement supports the broadcast of video in which an ad may appear before, during or after the video plays. These ads are generally played or viewed from a video player. • Video - A video clip (often expanding) that can be embedded within a banner (in-banner) or as a standalone video (in-page). • Mobile - Placement supports ads that are displayed on mobile devices. • Non-served – Used to reflect placements that will not be served by the ad server. • Non-media – Used to reflect placements that are not media-related (e.g., production costs, etc.).

  11. Cost Models • CPM: Cost per thousand impressions • CPC: Cost per Click • CPA: Cost per Acquisition • Time-Based Sponsorship: Pay according to a prearranged time period • Flat Fee: Fixed Cost • Zero Cost: No cost

  12. MM Proposal Excel Template Requested Placements • Includes specific requests for placements from the planner. • No actions can be performed on this worksheet. • To add these placements to the proposal - copy placement information to the Proposal Details tab from here.

  13. MM Proposal Excel Template Proposal Summary • This worksheet includes the summary of the entire proposal, name and notes • Total units, discounts, and total net cost, is automatically calculated based on what was entered in the Proposal Details

  15. Validation Process • Validation process purpose it to validate the data before submitting it to MediaMind to ensure smooth import process

Validation Process • Cells highlighted in red are errors that represent missing or incorrect mandatory details, or incorrect formats. • These errors must be fixed. • Cells highlighted in yellow are warnings that represent mismatches • Can be resolved at this stage, or later during the import process. • To understand the error/warning, roll over the highlighted cell with your mouse to see an explanation

  17. Fix Errors and Save • Fix the errors and validate again

  18. Submission Process • Submission will import the proposal into MediaMind 1. Browse for the file By default the site name will be the name of the site received in the RFP Option to associate the proposal to different site by un-checking the checkbox and selecting the site 2. Click ‘Upload’

Mismatch Process • In some cases, one or more of the sites or sections will not be recognized by MediaMind. • In such cases, there is a need to map the site/section to an existing one, by selecting it from the list, or alternatively, by creating a new one • Resolve mismatch process is done through a wizard process where the user is asked to select Sites, then Sections etc.

  20. Mismatch Process 1. Select site from list If a new site is required, contact the account manager to add it to MediaMind 2. Click ‘Next’

  21. Failure • In case there are errors, the proposal will not be uploaded • The publisher will be asked to fix and submit again

  25. Integrations With Publisher Side Application • They will have the option to generate a MediaMind Excel template from thier system • The Excel can be uploaded to MediaMind • This can save a lot of time and work for both publishers and planners Operative FatTail

  26. FAQs How can publishers add additional info to the MM proposal template? They can use the 'External Reference' column for any purpose. • It will be moved to trafficking. • The planner can add it in the RFP instructions. The info can be added in the placement's name
