Discover the intricate web of life in the rainforest, where energy flows among a diverse range of organisms, including the spotted owl, harpy eagle, and red-eyed tree frog. This self-sustaining ecosystem allows plants to provide food, energy, and building materials vital for survival. Learn how the needs of organisms are interrelated and influenced by their age and health. We explore how creatures like the toucan depend on their prey for energy and the cellular health necessary for thriving in this lush environment.

Needs of Organisms are Related to Age and Health PICTURE GOES HERE
Needs of Organisms are Related to Needs of Cells In order for the toucan to maintain a well-balanced organism, it needs to consume the right amount of energy to receive cells. These cells are built up from the food that is eaten and is used in the form of it’s energy. The tree frog, in which the toucan eats, gives the toucan the proper build up of cells.
