  2. Why do we need to brush our teeth? Brushing removes food and plaque from your teeth. Teeth get stained from coffee, cola, cigarette smoke, alcohol, juices and coloured foods. Brushing helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

  3. Enamelis very hard, shiny and tough. Dentin is like bone and is hard. Pulp is where each tooth's nerve endings and blood vessels are found. What are teeth made out of?

  4. We at the Sparkle Toothpaste Company want to make the best toothpaste possible. We would like you to help design our next toothpaste. We were hoping you would be able to investigate: • 1. How toothpaste helps to fight tooth decay. • The taste, smell and colour of toothpaste that people like best. • What the main ingredients of toothpaste are and what they do. Happy Investigating!
