  1. Approximately a third of adults worldwide experience sleep problems of some kind. A report by The Mental Health Foundation found that in the UK, millions of people say that as a result of poor sleep and insomnia, they feel:  More anxious  Stressed and overwhelmed  Irritable and angry

  2. In addition, the same report found that almost half of UK adults said that sleeping badly was harmful to their mental health. Insomnia is defined as the difficulty of going to or staying asleep. Chronic insomnia means your sleep pattern is disturbed at least three nights a week over three months. Reasons for Insomnia Reasons for insomnia vary. While the ultimate goal is to get consistent and good quality sleep, many people find it difficult to:  Stay asleep  Fall asleep  Stay awake during the day  Stop having nightmares or night terrors  Stop unwelcome thoughts that make them feel anxious, even when they’re tired and want to sleep.

  3. One of the most effective methods of treating insomnia can be hypnosis. This is because it helps to bring about a deep level of relaxation allowing the busy mind to slow down and to teach the mind and body to unwind. In turn, this can help the insomnia sufferer better understand and overcome the reasons for their insomnia. So how does hypnosis for insomnia work? Sleep Hypnosis for Insomnia Sufferers People experiencing insomnia looking for an at-home solution may benefit from hypnotherapy audios. Self-hypnosis can help a person teach themselves to go to sleep and change their negative sleeping patterns. Hypnotherapy is an effective and powerful insomnia treatment. It can help sufferers rewire negative thought patterns and let go of anxieties and concerns so that sleep not only comes more easily but also diminishes those anxieties.

  4. The ultimate goal is to fall into and maintain a deep sleep and feel rested and restored the next day. For this type of hypnotherapy audio to be effective, it is best to listen a minimum of four times. This can help reinforce the messaging and overturn old beliefs. In addition, doing this allows the mind to create new neural pathways to help people fall asleep and remain asleep without nightly anxiety. Is It for Me? Having read this, only you can decide if you want to try hypnosis for insomnia. What’s important to remember is that hypnotherapy is a natural state of mind and we’re all in it at least twice a day: when we’re waking up and when we’re falling asleep. You don’t lose control when in hypnosis and you will be totally aware of your surroundings. Our aim is to help you, through carefully curated hypnotherapy audios, to take back control of your sleep patterns and to help you enjoy a longer deeper nights sleep . If you’d like to know more about what we can do and how we can help, visit us here. We’d love to hear from you.
