  2. Power Brake Test • Procedure • Warm up engine • Increase the load • Throttle wide open • Adjust ignition timing to give maximum torque at the lowest speed to run the engine smoothly • Note the reading

Power Brake Test • Procedure • For next test • Reduced the load • This will increase the engine speed • Readjust ignition timing to give maximum torque at the lowest speed to run the engine smoothly • Note the readings • Test are repeated at intervals of 200/400 rev/min till maximum speed of the engine acheived
