  1. Formatting Your Research Paper Getting it right the first time!

  2. Step 1 Open a BRAND NEW DOCUMENT

  3. Step 2 Change the line spacing from 1.15 to 2.0.

  4. Step 3 Type your name, English 12 – Mr. Booher, Senior Paper, and 21 November 2012 at the top.

  5. Step 4 Center the curser, and type “Title Goes Here”. You’ll put a title in later.

  6. Step 5 Press “Enter” once, align the text back to the left, press tab once, and type the words “Start Typing Here”.

  7. Step 1 Congratulations! You are ready to start typing your paper.
