  7. The ‘Boss’ He who has the steering wheel determines where the car goes

  8. The person who has the steering wheel gets to determine whom to listen to, and thereby where the car is heading.

  13. If I listen to my ‘Old Self’ • My life will be heading down • If I listen to my ‘New Self’ • My life will be heading ‘up’

  14. The ‘old self’ has a grip on us (a pattern that we easily slip back into) We need to break the grip by: A) Forgingan underlying philosophy of life B)Living out the philosophy break the pattern time & again C) Putting on the New Person in Christ

  16. The ‘old self’ has a grip on us (a pattern that we easily slip back into) immorality & impurity greed & evil desires idolatry anger & rage slander, lie & filthy language B) Break the pattern: time & time again

  17. C) Put on the ‘New Person in Christ’ • in ‘experiencing God • continually & increasingly • being transformed • conforming into • the Image of Creator-God
