  3. Female • Called a “Doe” • Can weigh 90 to 200 pounds • Does not grow antlers

  4. WINTER • In winter deer form large herds. • Winter is also mating season for the white tail deer. • In winter their reddish brown fur changes to a light grey-brown color.
