Date : 25 June 2009 (just before the event « Projets en campagne » held on 26 & 27 June) Place : Limoges Objectives : - discovering the event « Projets en campagne » and the way it is organized - detailed presentation of the Limousin’s «Local Points for attracting new populations » - exchange of experiences with reginal decision makers from Massif Central area Target public : - Member Regions membres of RUR@CT network interested by this theme

Reinforcement of the partnership with DG REGIO => Operational level (objective « territorial cooperation », INTERREG…) => Strategic level (Regions for economic change, Territorial Cohesion…) Possible avenues of partnership with DG AGRI => Synergies and complementarities with « European Rural Network » - Participation to expert group - Limousin representing AER (as RUR@CT leadpartner) in Steering Committe

Collaboration with AER, CEMR, Committee of the Regions => Exchange of informations, and dissemination / communication => Participation to working groups => Organization of seminars and conferences European projects of cooperation linked with RUR@CT => 7th Framework Programme (RURALJOBS) => Interreg IVC (RURALAND, SEN@ER, ROBINWOOD)

    33. A better operational efficiency … => better coordination and capacity to act, shared budget for common logistics spendings (multilateral transfer) A more participatory governance … => decision-making shared, better technical and political involvement for the regions, reinforcement of the strategical dimension of the network
