  1. Safeguarding at The King’s School The King’s School considers this a responsibility of upmost importance whilst children, young people and staff are part of our community. The King’s School has many detailed policies that cover different aspects of safeguarding our students both in and out of school. The following diagram shows the policies that feed into this ensuring that we have effective school safeguarding practices and procedures.

SEN Policy Pupil Premium Policy/statement Equality and Diversity Policy Safeguarding - atThe King’s School Sex Education Policy Drugs & Substance Misuse Policy Behaviour and Discipline Policy. PDL (Positive Discipline For Learning) The School Behaviour Management Policy. Health, Safety & Environment Lone Working Policy Use of own Vehicle Policy Recruitment, Induction and Exit Policy – this includes safe recruitment & DBS checks for all staff in school. Anti-Bullying Policy-includes homophobic and cyber bullying E-Communications Policy – includes safe internet use, online communications and texting.
