A feeling or emotion toward a fact or state • Our attitude is our disposition, actions and reactions toward the problems of life • Our attitude is very important for it controls our living, fixes our character and determines our destiny • We must form proper attitude toward religion

OUR ATTITUDE • WHAT IS OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD THE BIBLE (book of books) THE WORD OF GOD? • The Truth is the word of God Jhn 17:17 • Do we love the truth 2Thess 2:10; Psa 1:2; Jhn 16:29; Jas 1:19; 2Tim 2:15; Acts 17:11 • Do we realize its value Jhn 8:32; Mk 8:36; Jude 3; 2Tim 2:24; Rom 1:16; 3Jhn 4

  3. OUR ATTITUDE • WHAT IS OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD ERROR OR SIN? • Do we tolerate error 1Cor 5:1-7 • Do we love or encourage error or sin 1Jhn 2:15,16 • Do we hate error or sin Psa 119:104; Rom 12:9; 1Thess 5:22; Rom 12:2

OUR ATTITUDE • WHAT IS OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD THOSE WHO TEACH OR PRACTICE ERROR • Do we defend teaching because we love person • Do we aid or encourage them 2Jhn 9-11 • Do we give place or subject ourselves to them Gal 2:4,5 • Do we try to convert them from error 2Tim 2:24,25 • Do we mark them which cause division or teach error Rom 16:17; Tit 3:10

  5. OUR ATTITUDE • WHAT IS OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD THE WORK OF THE CHURCH AND OUR BRETHREN • Let someone else do it Phil 2:12; Acts 2:40; • Do just as little as I can? (10 - 12 on Sunday morning) 1Pet 4:18 (Scarcely = with difficulty) • As much as lieth in us we must be ready Rom 1:15 • Love our brethren Rom 12:10; 1Pet 1:22; 3:8

  6. OUR ATTITUDE • WHAT IS OUR ATTITUDE TOWARD WORSHIP? Jhn 4:23,24 • Are we careless, indifferent, irreverent • Worship is used in the New Testament to describe homage to God • When used toward God it means REVERENCE, A FEELING OF AWE OR DEVOTION, TO SERVE OR RENDER RELIGIOUS SERVICE. • Is worship to God just a necessity to miss hell or do we enjoy worshipping God Psa 122:1

OUR ATTITUDE • Our worship must be REVERENT, we must be willing to WORK together in the Lord's vineyard, Try to CONVERT those in error, while we HATE their error, and have a LOVE for the truth that will cause us to live and teach it. • Our attitude is very important, because it is demonstrated to the world by our actions • If you have never obeyed your Lord this is a demonstration that you have an attitude of unbelief
