  1. Attitude What's yours like?

  2. Church • Do we come out of a sense of obligation or so we can tick the 'God' box for the week? • Psalm 42:1-2 • What's our attitude when it comes to spending time with God?

  3. Music • We all like different styles, that's not bad, it's how we handle it where we need to be careful • Our worship should be from the heart with an audience of One.

  4. “I was dancing before the LORD, who chose me above your father [he's talking to Michal daughter of Saul] and all his family! He appointed me as the leader of Israel, the people of the LORD, so I celebrate before the LORD. Yes, and I am willing to look even more foolish than this, even to be humiliated in my own eyes! But those servant girls you mentioned will indeed think I am distinguished!” So Michal, the daughter of Saul, remained childless throughout her entire life. • –2 Samuel 6:21-23

  5. Moaning • 2 types: 1)Take it publicly but moan in private. 2)Lets everyone know how they feel yet wants to do something about it. Subgroup - social media users • Israelites moaned a lot! • If we moan enough we might get what we want but is it worth it?

  6. Skepticism • Do we believe God can do things but when we see it we're still a bit puzzled? • Luke 9:49-50

  7. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. • –Philippians 2:5-11
