  2. Network engineer A job as a network engineer requires qualifications at a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. A network engineer is a very broad job. As the network engineer you are required to carry out a variety of tasks such as; setting up, administering, maintaining and upgrading communication systems as well as local area networks and wide area networks for organizations. Network engineers are also responsible for security, data storage and recovery strategies. A network engineer is an important role in an organization as it covers a wide area of tasks varying in important from security to data storage. A candidate would need to been keen to learn as this job would allow them to get a verity of specialist technical certifications. The candidate would also need to have an interest in problem solving and will need specialist knowledge in certain areas such as; network knowledge, communication and planning as well as analysing.

  3. Web developer A web developer needs degrees in IT, computer science, programming, software engineering or similar A web developer is a broad term as it covers every thing from the infrastructure of a website to the building of the website. A web developer is a very complex job which requires doing technical programing as well as the designing of the interface of the website. This role is important in a corporation as it would be the base of there website, whether that is for sale or just information on what they are offering. A candidate for this job would need skills ranging from a basic under standing of web technology to good communication skills and design so that the candidate could communicate with clients to get an understanding of what is required and get the job done, also the candidate would need some problem solving skills as to be able to overcome and issues that may arise.

  4. Software engineer A software engineer needs a higher degree in computing, software engineering or similar. A software engineer is required to do a variety of things for example designing and programing system-level software's such as: operating systems, database systems, embedded systems and more. They also need an understanding of the functioning of software and hardware. A software engineer is required to talk to clients and or colleagues as to determine a problem or issues to find solution to fix or overcome the issue. A software engineer is important in an electronics and telecommunication companies as if there is a problem this could have a large negative impact on the company so a software engineer is required too keep everything running and fix any problems that arise. A candidate needs a variety of skills from communication, Analysis, logical thinking, teamwork and attention to detail.

  5. Software tester A software tester requires a bachelors degree in computer science or similar. A software tester is needed in a corporation to test programs/software for errors or bugs that may occur during use, this is important in a corporation as an error or bug in the software/ program could cause massive problems for the corporation such as loss or decrease in productivity and reputation. This is all prevented by the software tester who prepare test scripts and macros, and analyzes the results. A software tester can also be involved in the beginning stages of a the manufacturing of a software to predict any issues that may arise and try to prevent them. A candidate would need to have attention to detail, creativity and be organized. A candidate would also need to be analytical and an investigative thinkingas well as good communication skills.

  6. Technical sales Technical sales is one of the i.t. jobs that requires minimal hands on technical work however it does require an understanding of i.t. and how it is used in businesses. A technical sales job involves doing a verity of tasks based around the sales such as; phoning, conferences, meetings or hands on draft proposals. A technical sales job is important to a business as it sells the product in which the business wishes to sell, so the technical sales will be doing all the hands on communication to sell the product to the desired audience. A candidate will need to be driven as this job realise on targets which the candidate will need to met, but once achieved there will be a commission. The candidate will also need to have a thorough understanding of the product they are required to sell. as well as Product knowledge the candidate will need to be good at sales with great communication and persuasion skills; as well as mobility and business awareness.

  7. Business system analyst A business system analyst requires at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field as well as 4 years of I.T. related experience. A system analyst job requires investigating and analyzing a businesses problems and designing a information software that provides a feasible solution. A business analyst also gathers requirements and identifies the costs and how long is needed to implement the project. A business analyst is important to a business as it does all the problem solving and investigating of the product to fix any errors so that the business does not need to. A system analyst is a job that requires moving up into not just straight from graduation, as this job requires a couple of years experience. For example an analyst programmer can move up into a business analyst after a few years. A candidate would require a mixture of business and technical knowledge as well as good understanding of people. A candidate would also need good skills in Communication, presentation and facilitation, as well as project management and problem solving.
