Some “facts” in Croatia “Hrvatska zemlja znanja” • 2009./2010. 40.000 students, • 75% social studies, • Long period of studying, • There is no connection between labour market needs and studyprogrammes, • Studyprogrammes= needs of the university and staff employed, • Studying for the sake of studying and not learning skills and knowledge for life/job • Result= an unhappy graduated younge person
Labour market • Large unemployment rate +/-30 %, • No vacanices announced,”friends politics” • As touristic land more need for ??? • Or as a new EU country need high qualifed administration staff???
YES there is a future for CAS in Croatia But not evident en not yet recognised
