  2. Who are we? A Kenyan NGO supported by a board of trustees and lots of great partners/collaborators UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI Celebrating our 20th anniversary!

  3. What do we do? Mpala facilitate human-wildlife co-existence and the advancement of human livelihoods.

  4. We do this through: • education • outreach • developing science-based solutions to guide conservation actions Mpala … a living laboratory

  5. Those seeking science-based solutions Students & curious researchers from around the world. >100-150 researchers/yr from >40 institutions from 17 countries. 300+ students/yr attending courses in ecology, economics, engineering to art.
