  2. Why Should We Switch to Them? • Imagine a world without power. If we don’t have power that means no phone, TV, iPods any electronics. That’s why you should switch to fluorescent. But more importantly if we don’t have power we would have to find new ways to preserve food, use medical equipment, and communicate without power. • They also look cool. • And they are brighter.

  3. My Part in Saving Power • I am your average Earthly friend. • I got 7 out of 10 on page 324. • I need to shut off lights when I leave rooms, shut off the TV when I leave the room, and use less paper. • I could put a post-it on the door to remind me to shut off the TV. • And I could use papers I don’t need from school as paper air planes instead of using a new piece of paper every time.

  4. Talent 21 Questions • (read slide number 6 for 2 liter bottle answer) • A third R could be Regroup. Meaning to regroup the amount of forests being destroyed. • To help make a difference at home I could shut off the TV when I leave the room, at school I could pursued my teachers to print on the front and backs of papers, in my community I could clean up litter off the roads.

  5. Talent 21 Questions (cont.) • If you save 1 ton of paper, that will save 17 trees. • We could save 500,000 acres by recycling ½ of the worlds paper. • Every year Americans throw out over 7 billion pounds of plastic a year!

  6. 2-Liter Soda Bottle • With a 2-liter soda bottle I wouldn’t use it as a tool or something similar, I would use it as a large hand sanitizer bottle. • I would take a large pump from a shampoo bottle and screw it on. • If I can’t screw it on I would get my dad to slightly melt them together. • But before I screw it on/melt it I would fill it with hand sanitizer.
