THEME BAR INCORPORATING GUINNESS • INCORPORATING THE THEME • Handle bars will resemble bar taps • The Engine will incorporate the mechanism used on top of kegs • The exhausts will have bar tap nozzles fixed to them • The tank will resemble a pint of guinness • the seat is yet to be decided • The overall colour scheme of the bike will be black and white incorporating the guinness theme also. Daragh McCoy 09006272Bike Module – PN4105 • DESIGN OF THE BIKE • I WILL BE USING THE FRAME DESIGN PROVIDED USING ROUND BAR • THIS WILL HELP INCORPORATE THE BAR THEME AS ROUND BARS WILL RESEMBLE THE BAR TAPS • I WILL ALSO BE USING THE SUSPENSION AND STEERING ASSEMBLIES PROVIDED

Design Ideas for the Bike Seat: For the seat I will be trying to incorporate the harp logo of guinness, for this I feel I could use foam as a base and then bind it in leather when I have achieved the desired shape. Tank: For t he tank I have decided to use the tulip style shape of a guinness pint glass. I will try to recreate an actual pint of guinness as the tank for the bike. Handle Bars: For the handle bars I wanted to yet again incorporate the guinness/bar theme, therefore I have obtained two guinness taps from a local bar. Exhaust: For the exhaust I will have it tipped with the spout from an actual guinness tap once again incorporating the bar theme. Light fitting: For the light fitting I will be incorporating the top of a keg which will have a working bulb mounted inside of it.
