  3. A Prayer of Thanks Thank you God for all that grows. Thank you for the sky’s rainbows. Thank you for the stars that shine. Thank you for these friends of mine. Thank you for the moon and sun. Thank you God for all you’ve done! Amen

  7. What Does God Expect of Us? What do we need to do to care for God’s creation?

  8. Genesis 2: 5-25 God entrusted the world to Adam and Eve. He gave them free will – the freedom to make choices on their own. They ignored God’s instruction and made a bad choice. Activity: Can you think of some good and bad choices at school and home?

  9. Noah’s ark But one man, Noah, was living well. He did not follow the example of the people around him. Instead, he followed God. God decided to start again and He chose Noah to help him. God saved Noah and his family, and all of the animals of the world. God was unhappy with how humans were living. They were being selfish, fighting and not caring for his creation.

Exodus 3: 8-17 • The book of Exodus tells us how God revealed himself to his chosen people and saved them from their life of slavery in Egypt. • The Pharaoh of Egypt was a cruel man who treated the Israelites terribly. • God chose an old man named Moses to stand up to Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses did not think his people would believe him but God said He would help Moses and Moses’ brother, Aaron, would also help him to speak to them.

  16. Mary – Chosen by God Mary must have been frightened and confused. But Mary still said yes to God’s request. She was brave. She had faith and trust. We can pray to Mary because of her special relationship with Jesus. Activity: Brainstorm a list of words to describe Mary
