  1. Living Belief Living Unity

  2. Ephesians 4:1-11 4 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—

  3. Ephesians 4:1-11 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.  • Maintaining the Unity of the Spirit A WORTHY WALK – humility >> gentleness >> patience >> forbearance >> eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace

  4. humility >>a self imposed chosen stooping of soul gentleness >>meekness- power under control patience >>longsuffering, slowness in avenging wrong forbearance >>enduring one another’s imperfections  eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace>> exerting oneself with diligence to pursuing unity

  5. One Body-Family of Believers with Jesus First One Spirit-One “breath” that makes us alive One Hope-seeing Jesus now and forever One Lord-where we get our daily orders One Faith-the single economy of God One Baptism-identifying with the Christ (DBR) One God & Father over ALL- GOD’S IT!

  6. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. 8 Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” 9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 2. Mobilizing the Unity of the Gift

  7. Applications • My individual walk with God makes a difference in maintaining unity Does my walk reflect humility >> gentleness >> patience >> forbearance >> eagerness for unity? 2. Within the family of God ONENESS is grounded in God as All in All and He Gifts His people. Am I mobilizing my giftedness?
