I don't think so. [I suppose so, too.] so=He is a very nice guy • Those who want to go out early may do so. do so =go out early • Helen will be safe. - I hope so. (헬렌은 안전할 겁니다. - 저도 그러길 바래요.) • <참고 : 부정의 문장이나 절은 not으로 받는다.> • I'm afraid it will be rainy. I hope not. not=it will not be rainy • 3. so+주어+동사(have, do, 조동사): so는 yes의 뜻이 되어 「정말(과연) 그러하다」 • so+동사(be, have, do, 조동사)+주어: so는 also의 뜻이 되어 「∼도 역시 그러하다」 • I hear he is very kind.-- So he is. (그는 정말 그래요.) / So is his wife. • (그의 부인도 역시 친절합니다.) • They work hard. -- So they do. (그들은 정말 그래요.) / So do I. (나도 그래요.)
