  13. Qualitative Energy Solutions • Solar doesn't provide power at night • Sometimes there is no wind • Both can be used simultaneously to ensure there is almost constant “green” power production DECISION: Employ both green technologies

Social/Economic Impact • Increased communication makes it easier to provide aid and support for refugees • More reliable communication leads to stronger economy • More connectivity aids the local education systems in teaching future generations • Easier to consult with doctors, may raise life expectancy

Assumptions • The coming years will have similar weather patterns compared to previous years • Operating cost of hut will run at about $5000 a year • Cell Tower will provide around $70000 a year after operating expenses are deducted. • There will be no attempts to destroy the tower, it will not be hardened to withstand explosions or gunfire.
