  3. Why use CPARS? • FAR Part 42.15 requires reporting of contractor performance • PPIRS • Used for source selection evaluations • Reduces paper, improves business process, efficiency • Facilitates Government to Contractor communication

  6. Email for CPARS Access • Receive a system email with a User ID • Go to https://cpars.csd.disa.mil/cpars/app/userloginfed.do • Enter User ID and email address • A temporary password will be provided by email • HOLD: Do not initiate any evaluations until receive training

When are evaluations required? • Contracts that exceed simplified acquisition threshold of $150K (exception: A&E and construction) • A&E contracts that are $30K or over • Construction contracts that are $650K or over • Any A&E or construction contracts that are terminated for default • Interim evaluations are required for contracts having a 1+ yr term • Note: Classified/Top Secret information is not entered into CPARS

  13. PPDB vs. CPARS • User roles and access to system • PPDB did not track any changes made to the original ratings/comments. • Past due after 120 days vs. 60 days • NFS and PIC 09-09 will be revised

  15. REMEMBER • Incomplete evaluations in the PPDB must be completed by 5/31/2011. Otherwise, they must be entered into CPARS. • Check new spreadsheet • Attend CPARS Training that will be offered for each office
