  9. D-Link’s PoE Solution 802.3af standard defines the the specifications to deliver power over standard Ethernet cables. Power over Ethernet is already widely adopted in the market, particularly in the VoIP, WLAN, and IP Surveillance market where it saves up to 50% of the overall installation costs by eliminating the need to install separate electrical wiring and power outlets. Network admin can configure multiple SSIDs to create different levels of network access and to access virtual LANs (VLANs). • The multiple SSID also can be activated without VLANs. WDS(Wireless Distribution System) • If the end points of a chain are connected to each other a loop is created. • Normally it is advised to avoid loops involving bridges as it can lead to performance breakdowns, and broadcast and multi-cast storms. • Loop Configuration • However if the bridges in the loop support spanning tree protocols, a loop can be created adding connection redundancy that can be used in case one of the access points in the loop fails.
