  3. Type • Used along with imagery • Usually not a lot of room for it • Important • Used to complement or reinforce message • Words express an idea, but appearance of font drives the message

  4. Basics • “T” in the tool bar • “fx” in the layers palette • Color & Size

  5. Try it yourself… • File; new

  6. Type your name • Stretch it out • Change the color • Add effects • Distort it

  7. Take it up a notch • Adding movement to text • Create warped text • edit: transform path • Pen tool

  10. To add to your computer • Be logged in as an administrator, not student or be on your own computer • Extract font and place in correct folder C:/windows/fonts
