GlasswareWashingmachine • We have establishedan Outlook booking calendar. • Whenyou book, pleaseobserve the length of yourwashingprogram • Most washingtaskscanbeperformedwith the standard 1 hourprogram • Washing-up liquid and neutralizingliquidis on the house • Wehave two”drive-in” trolleys for the washingmachineso thatyoucanfillone with dirtyglasswarewhile the other is washing. • General rules for glasswareapply: no labels, noautoclave tape, caps removed frromblue-capbottles • The washingroom has beenequipped with sinks for rinsingawaymost dirt from yourglasswarebefore final cleaning. • Glasswarecontaminated with organic/foul-smellingwaste must becleaned in the fumehoodequipped with 3 sinks. • Weare still waiting for installation and a short usercourse, but the washingmachineshouldready for usebeginning of April. • Contact person: Ove Kristian Lillelund (okl@mb.au.dk)

Chemical waste • It is important to handle chemical waste carefully, and to help maintain the safety of those who transport and handle your waste! • Only use approved waste containers (5 liters UN 3H1/X) found in 1590-051 • In case less than 10 containers are left, please contact Jeppe Kristensen (jk@chem.au.dk). • Full containers should be transported to the waste room immediately • Each of the large barrels in 1591-051 should be used for only one type of waste • Point of contact: Morten Foss (foss@inano.au.dk)
