SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF FORUM • Present overviews of UK and EU Energy Policy Reviews, including Research and Technology needs • Present views on relevant key issues raised in the UK Governments Energy Policy Consultation Document • Consider the response to the Consultation Document on issues relating to Technology Strategy and necessary Research, Development and Demonstration for the Fossil, Biomass and Waste Sector

STRUCTURE OF FORUM Morning • Perspectives on UK PIU Energy Policy Report, EC Energy Policy and Technology Issues, UK Chief Scientist Energy Research Review and DTI Energy Consultation Exercise • What it all means to the UK Energy and Power Generation Sector - an APGTF View and its proposed response to the Consultation Exercise Afternoon • Panel Session relating to UK Energy Consultation Exercise Issues • Summary of Views from the Forum PRESENTATION FORMAT DISCUSSION FORMAT
