  5. 學期總分比例分配 100--1 • 平時成績：40% • 1. • 2. Attendance/quizzes /performance 30% • 期中考：30% • 期末考：30% Self-study foreign language access center for freshman: 6 hours Live DVD: 6 hours

Teaching Listening skills • Affective /effective exercises for the listening test • Dictation: vocabulary, phrases, sentences, idioms, questions, dialogs, short talks, connected discourses and paragraphs • Look and say (articles, pictures or photos, etc.) • Recitation (read the articles, poems, etc.) • Listen and say (say what you hear and understand what you say)

Listening skills • Listen and write (take-notes) • With critical thinking to interpret/explain/ response native’s answer: answer questions • Your ways/styles of learning listening: • Your ears on/with your hands/ Open your eyes • focus on papers/pictures/mark what you listen/write down your answers
