This study examines the texture rotations of uranium samples before and after deformation, measured at varying orientations and times. Analyzing ten critical samples including dU_Tens and dU_Comp series, we focused on their pre-deformation textures observed on September 7 and post-deformation adjustments recorded by October 13. The results displayed variations in rotation, with most samples exhibiting consistent measurement results despite re-evaluations. Insights into the differences between RD and TD samples may enhance our understanding of uranium's material properties under stress.

Uranium Garlea/Agnew Maud analysis, 3 orientations, 5 minutes per orientations, 42 histograms per orientation, 10th order E-WIMV
dU_Tens_2_BC990, 0.3ppm, TD Plate normal is obvious for both of these samples therefore, rotation is same and the difference we see in the texture is the difference between what we call RD and TD dU_Tens_5_BC993, 0.3ppm, RD
dU_Comp_1_BC323, 0ppm, TD, pre-deformation initial textures we measured on 9/7 and initial orientation is unknown from post deformation. • dU, BC 323, 0ppm, TD, • post deformation I believe rotation of post deformation textures because orientation was found on 9/17 using SMARTS. Post deformation was measured on 10/13
dU_Comp_3_BC996, 1.8ppm, TD Pre-deformation, measured 9/7 Pre-deformation, re-measured 9/16. Not sure why we re-measured these, but results are identical. Post-deformation, measured 10/13. Visual inspection of the samples indicates that there may be a +or-5 degree rotation between pre and post measurements, again post deformation rotation is correct.
dU_Tens_6_BC994, 1.8ppm, RD Pre-deformation, measured 9/6 Pre-deformation, re-measured 9/16. Not sure why we re-measured these, but results are identical. Post-deformation, measured 10/13. Visual inspection of the samples indicates that plate normal is obvious pre-deformation and post deformation texture rotation same +or- 1 degree
dU_Comp_6_BC999, 1.8ppm, RD Pre-deformation, measured 9/7 Pre-deformation, re-measured 9/16. Not sure why we re-measured these, but results are identical. Post-deformation, measured 10/13. Visual inspection of the samples indicates that there is a 90 degree rotation between pre and post measurements, again post deformation rotation is correct.
dU_Tens_3_BC991, 1.8ppm, TD Pre-deformation, measured 9/7 Pre-deformation, re-measured 9/16. Not sure why we re-measured these, but results are identical.
dU_Comp_4_BC997, 0ppm, RD pre-deformation Information I have indicates that initial textures we measured on 9/7 and initial orientation is approx. 90 degrees from post deformation. I believe rotation of post deformation textures because orientation was found on 9/17 using SMARTS. Post deformation was measured on 10/13 dU_Comp_4_BC997, 0ppm, RD post deformation
dU_Tens_4_BC992, 0ppm, RD Pre-deformation, measured 9/6 Post-deformation, measured 10/13. Visual inspection of the samples indicates pre-deformation and post deformation texture rotation same +or- 5 degrees
dU_Tens_2_BC990 0.3ppm plate normal obvious, measured 9/6, Tension
dU_Tens_1_BC324 0 ppm Measure 9/6, pre-deformation
dU_Comp_5_BC998, 0.3ppm, RD Pre-deformation measured 9/7, Re-measured using SMARTS and rotation is + or -15 degrees
