  5. The Bible says, “I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping& drenchmy couch withtears.” (Psalms 6:6)

  6. The Bible says, “It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart. Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad faceis good for the heart. The heart ofthe wiseis in the house ofmourning,but the heart offools is inthe house ofpleasure.” (Ecclesiastes 7:2-4)

  7. The Bible says, “In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much&prayed to the LORD… ’Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish &grief.’” (1 Samuel 1:10; 16)
