  6. Monday Maverick Madness Monday, March 11th, visit Melt in Leesburg, show your Smart Card and get 10% off  

  7. CONGRATULATIONS  to 8th grader BESSIE TUBMAN for submitting the winning design for the 8th grade Backyard Bash t-shirt design contest

  8. Bessie's design will be on the t-shirts all 8th graders will receive as their entry ticket to the annual Backyard Bash which will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013

  9. Congratulations Bessie and thank you to all the 8th graders that submitted entries for the contest. Other student designs will be on display in the hallway outside of House A Thanks also to Mr. Eskew for his help with the contest

  11. It’s Playoff Time!!! Come out and support your 6th Grade Boys Travel Basketball team as they take on Belmont Ridge Tonight, here at Smart’s Mill, 6:30.

  15. Band or Orchestra students interested in participating in Solo and Ensemble Festival should have your piece information and $5 to your director by the end of this week.

  16. Sam Armstrong will be teaching Sign Language Club on Thursday in room A7.  Please join us!

  17. Recycle your old printer cartridges here and help raise money for Smart’s Mill.

  18. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.
