  2. The Prophet Micah Contemporary with Isaiah and Hosea Prophesied during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. (1:1) Prophesied against Samaria (Israel) and Jerusalem (Judah). (1:1, 4:10) Foretold the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem and of His kingdom. (5:2, cf. Matthew 2:6; 4:1-2)

  3. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good;       And what does the LORD require of you       But to do justly,       To love mercy,       And to walk humbly with your God?

  4. What Does The Lord Require of Us? • He has shown us what is good. • 2 Timothy 3:16-17 • 1 Peter 3:13 -17 (cf. Psalm 119:172) • Titus 3:14 And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
