Ingredients and Amounts: • 1/2 medium avocado, seeded and peeled • 1 cup low fat cottage • cheese 3/4 cup plain, • non-fat yogurt • 1/2 cup sliced green onions • 1/4 cup shredded carrots • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice • 1/4 cup non-fat mayonnaise • 2 cups broccoli florets • 1 cup cucumber slices • 28 melba toast rounds Directions: Dice avocado into small pieces, toss with lemon juice and set aside. In food processor or blender, blend cottage cheese, yogurt and mayonnaise until smooth. Add cottage cheese mixture to avocado, gently stirring in onions and carrots. Cover and chill. Serve with vegetable crudités and melba toast rounds, allowing ½ cup vegetables, 4 melba toast rounds and 8 Tbsp dip per serving. You should use this recipe because it only has only 4 grams of sugar and it is good for special occasions. Avocado Green Onion Party Dip This recipe serves 7 people.

Our Ingredients: • 2 cups pitted fresh or frozen sweet cherries • 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil • 1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper • 2 tsp lemon juice • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel • 1/4 tsp salt • dash of bottled hot pepper sauce Directions: Chop cherries in food processor or with a knife. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.. We think you should try this recipe because it has 0% Cholesterol only 10 grams of sugar in the recipe and it sounds very tasty! This recipe serves 4 people Fresh Northwestern Cherry Salsa

  4. THE INGREDIENTS: • 1 large banana (cut) • ¾ a cup of cranberries • ¼ cup of oats • ½ tsp of Nutmeg Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large non-stick skillet. Cook on medium-high heat just until cranberries begin to soften, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Spoon into bowls and top with low-fat whipped topping, fat-free sour cream or low-fat frozen yogurt, if desired. This Elegant recipe that we have both chosen has been chosen because it has only the slightest 10 grams of sugar and it is a delightful way to begin your day in a bright way.
